We had our last meeting on the 4th of April, 2010, 1pm at YunXuan's house. There, we we completed several aspects of the group project, including the full 2 hour long presentation, the instructional teaching powerpoint, the actual presentation and the report.
To increase work efficiency, we splitted work and for the 1st 2 hours of the meeting, we did individual work. I was in-charged of the creation and formatting of the powerpoint slides for the powerpoint lesson package, while Stephanie completed the instructional teaching slides and Yunxuan did the report. We went through the slides and selected the area which we thought was interesting, to be used for the 10-minutes presentation. It was then decided that I was to be responsible for the creation of the presentation slides. (10-minutes presentation). In addition, I had to complete and polish-up the report (lesson idea summary). The meeting ended at around 6pm.
We had a minor-meeting on the 8th of April, 2010 in school, and that lasted for around 30 minutes. We rehearsed the parts for the presentation and Yunxuan took charged of the English portions and Stephanie took the chinese presentation. It was decided that I need not present the slides since I was heavily involved in the editing and the background work. They then had to go back home and be responsible for the preparation of scripts for the presentation.
In my opinion, the presentation and the whole collaboration was a huge success. Despite the differences we had in the beginning, we managed to sort them out and I had a great time working with them.
